What is the main goal of this web site?

The Neobyzantine Web Site is an official web site of the Neobyzantine Movement, an organisation for all-Orthodox co-operation and unity. This site provides all the important information on the Neobyzantine Movement (NBM), and is used to propagate and promote an idea of Neobyzantine Union.

What are the recommendations for using this web site?

This site is tested on Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, with browsers Netscape Navigator 4.5 and 4.7, Internet Explorer 3.2, 4.x, 5.x and 6 (Windows 2000 and XP), Opera 5 and 6 (Windows 2000 and XP), Web TV viewer 2.x. Unfortunately, the best results and the browsing experience could be accomplished with Internet Explorer 5.x (and above) and Netscape Navigator 4.7x (and above) Your browser should have Java Script, Java Applets, and Auto Select options turned on. Of course, other OS, browsers and programs do show all of the content well, with only minor degradation. Other programs and plugins and the environment could be found on this page. We also suggest You download some fonts with Byzantine letters in order to have enhanced experience.

How could I join the Movement or contribute the development of this site?

The Neobyzantine Movement is opened for new members and friends of all races and nations. However, we do expect Orthodox and Eastern Christians to join us in a substantial number, in an effort of uniting our nations. We will heartily except new members from any other nation or country as well.

You could join the Neobyzantine Movement online from our online join application form by giving us some information about You and required contact information.

What is the Neobyzantine Online Forum?

The Neobyzantine Online Forum (Αγορά) is a an online discussion group of members of the Neobyzantine Movement, and individuals that share the common idea of Byzantine friendship.

The Forum is opened for new members, i.e. everyone could join the Forum (go to) and post the ideas to the Web Discussion Board (click to post).

You could also share Your Instant Messaging data (go to) with other members for programs such as ICQ, AOL, MS Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, etc.

How can I join the Online Forum group and the Discussion Board?

You could read on the Neobyzantine Online Forum (go to).

You could join the Neobyzantine Online Forum by putting the required data into the online Forum join application form. You will be informed of the status soon after You send us Your data. There's a possibility that You could not be accepted into the Forum if You belong to any group of that has not permission to become member of the Neobyzantine Movement (then check Statute of the Neobyzantine Movement).

You could join the Instant Messaging list by putting required data into the online Instant Messaging join application form by giving us some information about You and required contact information.

Everyone could join the Online Forum (instead of prohibited groups by the Status of the Neobyzantine Movement). Every member cold write its opinion and present own ideas, if these ideas do not show explicit violence of bad behaviour. No are allowed and if they occur, there is a possibility of penalties

Everyone could post the opinion to the Web Discussion Board if all the behaviour is according to the sentences above.
